Google through it’s Arts & Culture programme has teamed up with Heritage Malta and other local partners to over a virtual experience of what the Maltese Archipelago has to offer.
Users are invited to walk through virtual exhibitions or can take on immersive, virtual journey discovering the UNESCO Heritage Megalithic temples of Malta; take a close look at some of the most stunning pieces of tapestry in the Grandmaster’s Palace, spin around a 360-degree experience of the underground temple of Hal Saflieni, and take a virtual walk through Ghar Dalam – the cave of darkness.
So before you pack your suitcase, make sure you know where you are heading – an island full of history that will surprise you. This is the Mediterranean’s best kept secret!
